In Jana's visual work and music she addresses themes and intersections of mysticism, mental health, spiritualism, physics, the natural world, magic, relationships, neurodivergence, gender, sexuality, birth, death, parenting, intergenerational and historical trauma, and ancestors.
She works as an Expressive
Arts and Mental Health Counselor in private practice as well as facilitating workshops and classes. Formerly of the Sub Pop band Dickless, and also of Jana McCall on Up records, she currently writes and records with various musicians.
